The short version

Somediem has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you add stays on your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud, it's also kept in your own private iCloud storage. We (the developer) can't see any of it.

What stays on your device

Your lists, wishes, notes, dates, ratings, photos and places are stored on your iPhone. The home screen widgets read the same data on your device.

iCloud sync

If you're signed in to iCloud, Somediem syncs your library through Apple's CloudKit, using your private database. Apple stores this data under your Apple Account; it's covered by Apple's privacy policy, and we have no access to it. You can turn it off in Settings → your name → iCloud.

Photos

When you add a photo, you pick it yourself with Apple's photo picker. Only the photos you choose are copied into Somediem; the app can't browse your library.

Location and places

When you search for a place, the search text and, if you allow it, your approximate location are sent to Apple Maps to suggest results. Somediem doesn't store your location or send it anywhere else.

Purchases

Somediem Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we only receive an anonymous confirmation that Pro is active on your device. We never see your name, email address or payment details.

Children

Somediem is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

In Somediem, go to Profile → Erase everything to remove every list and wish from your device and from iCloud. Deleting the app removes the local copy.
